Dimuthu Jayasinghe

Dimuthu Jayasinghe has had extensive work experience in the research and development field, primarily in the Home and Personal Care industry.

Starting in 1999 at Chemical Industries (Colombo) Limited, Jayasinghe worked as a Laboratory Executive for several months before moving on to join Unilever in 2000. At Unilever, Jayasinghe held various roles over the years, including Management Trainee, Development Manager in the Personal Products and Oral Care divisions, and Senior Development Manager at the Global Design Centre for Oral Care in India.

In these positions, Jayasinghe was responsible for leading teams, formulating global innovation strategies, and managing the development and deployment of new products. Jayasinghe also gained experience in project management, networking with international teams, and conducting market research.

In 2013, Jayasinghe joined Hemas Holdings PLC as the Director of Research & Development. In this role, Jayasinghe led the R&D function, developed strategies for future sustainability, and supported the company's innovation agenda by identifying market gaps and providing product solutions.
