Juliana Jamal

Juliana Jamal is a skilled researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Hematogenix since October 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Medical Research, NIH in Malaysia from August 2020 to September 2021, where Juliana focused on isolating peripheral blood mononuclear cells and analyzing T-cell subtypes in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients. Juliana completed a Dual PhD program at the University of Liverpool and the University of Malaya from February 2016 to August 2020, studying Orthopedic Biology, and holds a Master's degree in Medical Science (Pharmacology) from the University of Malaya. Career beginnings include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Malaya from June 2011 to January 2016, and a Research Officer at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, where Juliana contributed to identifying stem-like cells in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
