Shuntae Williams Ph.D., Msrs

Shuntae Williams, PhD, MSRS has extensive work experience in the field of scientific and regulatory affairs. Shuntae is currently the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director at Hematogenix, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Biomarker Discovery & Development from December 2019 to the present. Shuntae also worked as a Senior Scientist at Hematogenix from June 2015 to December 2019.

Before joining Hematogenix, Shuntae worked as the Scientific and Technical Sales Manager at SeraCare Life Sciences from June 2013 until March 2015. Shuntae then worked at Ventana Medical Systems as a Key Account Technical Specialist from January 2009 to June 2013.

Shuntae's earlier work experience includes a position as a Post Doctoral Associate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham-Department of Microbiology/Immunology from August 2007 to January 2009.

Shuntae Williams, PhD, MSRS obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tennessee State University in 2000. Shuntae then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology from Meharry Medical College between 2000 and 2007. Finally, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Regulatory Science at the Johns Hopkins University - Krieger School of Arts & Sciences from 2017 to 2019.
