Dave Guilmette

Dave Guilmette is the Advent Team Manager at Hemenway & Barnes. Dave has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry.

Dave started their career as a Fund Accountant at Investors Bank & Trust in December 2005. Dave was there for just over a year before moving to State Street in January 2007. At State Street, Dave worked as a Performance Analyst - Senior Associate. In this role, they prepared daily and monthly fund performance analysis and various ad hoc client reports. Dave was also responsible for maintaining business processes and procedures and responding to client inquiries. Dave left State Street in March 2014 to join Hemenway & Barnes as the Advent Team Manager.

In their current role, Dave is responsible for leading the Advent team and providing support to the firm’s clients. Dave has extensive knowledge of multiple asset classes and is able to identify and resolve issues with daily/monthly performance and daily attribution. Dave is also well-versed in GIPS and benchmark setups, and they create custom benchmarks as needed. Dave is an expert in Bloomberg and Fact-set, and they use these tools to communicate effectively with clients and investment managers to resolve any reconciling issues.

Dave Guilmette has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Fitchburg State University.
