Sammi Shu

Sammi Shu serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Okapi Labs since February 2023, focusing on on-chain reputation and attestation. Prior to this role, Sammi held the position of Asia Lead at Centrifuge, where the emphasis was on on-chain Real World Assets from July 2022 to February 2023. Sammi also has a robust background in finance, having worked as Associate Director in Credit Derivatives Structuring at BNP Paribas from January 2021 to July 2022, and as an Associate in Fixed Income Derivatives at HSBC from June 2016 to December 2020. Early experience includes a position as eFX Quant Trading Summer Analyst at HSBC in 2015. Academic qualifications encompass a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Science in Finance and Private Equity from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge. Early education includes A Levels from Yinghao College International Department and high school from Chengdu Foreign Languages School.
