Jianping CHEN

Jianping Chen has a strong background in software development and algorithms with extensive experience in the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) industry.

Jianping began working at Nexteq Navigation Corporation in October 2010 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of navigation software. Jianping remained with the company until July 2014.

In August 2014, Jianping joined Hemisphere GNSS as a GNSS R&D Software Developer. During their time there, they played a crucial role in developing software for GNSS applications. In July 2020, they were promoted to the position of Senior R&D Software Developer, recognizing their contributions to the company.

Currently, Jianping works for Hemisphere GNSS as a Senior Algorithms Engineer, starting in August 2022. Jianping'sresponsibilities involve developing advanced algorithms for GNSS technology.

Jianping Chen is currently pursuing a PhD in Geomatics at the University of Calgary. This program began in 2018 and is expected to be completed by 2023. Prior to this, Jianping obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University. Their studies at Tsinghua University spanned from 1995 to 2003.
