Cherie Powers has extensive experience in IT and finance business processes, currently serving as an SAP IT and Finance Business Process Expert at Hemlock Semiconductor since August 2022. With a long tenure at The Dow Chemical Company starting in October 2002, Cherie has held roles as an IT and Finance Business Process Expert (BPX) and as a Global Subject Matter Expert - Senior Finance Specialist, responsible for process design, user requirement validation, and implementation within finance functions. Previous experience includes a position as a Senior Information Systems Analyst at The Dow Chemical Company from 1984 to 2002, specializing as an SAP I/T Lead Analyst. Cherie holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, both from Central Michigan University.
