Alan Browning

Alan Browning currently serves as Regional Facilities Manager at Hendy Group since November 2021 and as an Academy Scout for Southampton Football Club since September 2024. Previously, Alan held the position of Regional YDP Academy Scout at AFC Bournemouth from August 2015 to May 2024, where responsibilities included monitoring grassroots games and recruiting players for the Academy program. Additional experience includes working as a National Scout for the Football Association of Wales from August 2017 to May 2023, Head of Facilities at Solent Hotel & Spa from April 2019 to November 2021, and Maintenance Works Manager at Marwell Wildlife from March 2015 to March 2019. Alan also provided scouting analysis as a Scouting & Performance Analyst for Scout7 from August 2010 to May 2018 and acted as an Elite Performance Scout for the Scottish Football Association from January 2013 to April 2016. Earlier roles include coaching a boys team at FC Southampton and serving as Assistant Estates Manager at Barton Peveril College from June 2002 to March 2015. Alan holds an HND in Sport & Recreation Management from Loughborough University.
