Daniel Soujon

Daniel Soujon has had an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel started their career as a Software Developer at Studsvik in 2000 and later worked as a Consulting Intern at Siemens Management Consulting in 2005. Daniel then served as a Research Intern at the Institute of Biochemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Diploma Student/Researcher at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where they published a research paper. Daniel continued their academic pursuits as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Utah Department of Physics in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Consultant/Senior Consultant at Siemens Management Consulting, and from 2011 to 2015, they served as a Project Manager at the same company. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Partner/Vice-President at Siemens Management Consulting, where they were responsible for Siemens Energy Management and Digital Factory Divisions. In 2018, they joined Siemens as Vice President/Segment Head for Factory Automation. Daniel led the global business of Corrective, Preventive, and Predictive Services, developed new service business models, and acquired a multi-million SW& Service company. In 2020, they briefly served as the Chairman of the Board at Vizendo AB. In 2022, they became the Corporate Vice President/Global Head of New Business Models at Henkel, and in 2023, they became the Corporate Vice President/Global Head of New Business/Head of Henkel Tech Ventures at the same company. Additionally, they also served as a Shareholder Representative at Cofinity-X in 2023.

Daniel Soujon completed an MBA from INSEAD in 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Diplom in Physik, Informatik from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, which they completed in 2007. In 2004, they also obtained a Diplôme Européen de Physique from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI). Daniel has an additional certification in "Strategy in the age of digital disruption" from INSEAD Executive Education, obtained in 2017.
