Richard Scholta has over 24 years of work experience with Henkel, holding various management positions in sales and marketing from 1996 to 2006. Richard then became the Head of Marketing Adhesive Technologies Europe/Middle East from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 onwards, they held several leadership roles at Henkel, including Head of Global Marketing and Strategy Packaging Adhesives, Head of Global Steering Unit Tapes & Labels, Head of Global Marketing Industrial Adhesives, General Manager of Novamelt GmbH, Steering Unit Lead Industrial Adhesives, Head of Raw Material Purchasing, and Steering Unit Lead Europe/Middle East.
Richard Scholta's education history includes a range of degrees and programs. In 1975, they completed their A-levels at Rheingymnasium Köln. Later, in 1989, they graduated with a Diplom-Betriebswirt (BA) degree from DHBW Mannheim in Marketing and Purchasing. Richard further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Cologne between 1992 and 1996, specializing in Finance, Marketing, and Psychology. Following this, they attended several executive programs, including the Advanced Management program at IESE Business School in 2005 and the Henkel Technologies Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program in the same year. In 2007, Richard completed the Strategics for Senior Management course at INSEAD. Lastly, in 2011, they studied Corporate Level Strategy at Harvard University. Scholta also attended the Leadership Convention at IESE Business School in 2014.
