Ria K. currently works as a Clinical Research Assistant at Hennepin Healthcare, where responsibilities include writing and editing standard operating procedures for the SMART study, shadowing neurosurgery residents, recruiting patients, and administering cognitive assessments to TBI patients. Previously, Ria served as a Student Researcher at the University of Minnesota Advanced Research and Diagnostic Lab, focusing on the Long Life Family Study under Dr. Thygarajan, and completed a summer research internship in the same lab, preparing white blood cell samples for analysis related to the Epstein Barr virus. Additionally, Ria worked as a Coding Instructor Assistant with Kode With Klossy, promoting coding proficiency and fostering an inclusive learning environment during summer camps internationally. Ria K. holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience with a Pre-Medicine focus from the University of Minnesota, as well as a minor in Neuroscience.
