Paulina Kaiser has a diverse work experience in research and public health. Paulina started their career in 2007 as a Research Assistant with the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI). Paulina then worked as a Research Associate at the same institute, primarily focusing on program evaluation in partnership with Native American communities in Michigan. In 2010, they joined the University of Michigan School of Public Health as a Doctoral student. After completing their doctoral studies, they worked as an Instructor, Research Associate, and Post-doc at Oregon State University from 2014 to 2019. Their roles included teaching, research, and collaborating with academic partners. In 2016, they joined Samaritan Health Services as a Manager, Research Development, and later became the Director of Health Outcomes Research & Evaluation. In these roles, they were responsible for developing research initiatives, evaluating population health improvement opportunities, and advocating for the organization's growth as a learning health system.
Paulina Kaiser received their Bachelor's degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Northwestern University in 2006. Paulina then went on to complete their Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology, also at the University of Michigan, which they completed in 2014.
