Kenith Shumate

Kenith Shumate has extensive experience in public safety, currently serving as the Assistant Chief of Training, Division Chief of Operations, and Volunteer Coordinator at Henry County Public Safety since March 2014. Prior to this role, Kenith worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Martinsville from July 2005 to March 2014. Kenith holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Patrick & Henry Community College, obtained between 2012 and 2016.
