Alice T

Alice T. has a diverse work experience spanning various institutions and roles. In 2008, they served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. In 2011, they worked as a Collections Management Intern at the National Taiwan Museum. From 2012 to 2014, Alice was a Graduate Student Instructor in the Department of English at the University of Michigan. Alice then briefly worked as a Library Assistant at the William L. Clements Library in 2013. Alice joined The Huntington in 2015, where they held a role in the Education Division until 2018. During their time there, they authored a comprehensive report on Diversity and Inclusion and facilitated departmental communications and correspondence. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as the Director for Library Programming and Public Affairs at Pepperdine University, coordinating various cultural programs and securing support for critical projects. Currently, Alice is the Director of Special Projects and Institutional Planning at The Huntington, a position they have held since 2021.

Alice T. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in English Language and Literature, along with a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies, from the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2017. Prior to this, they attended Amherst College, where they studied English and Music. Additionally, Alice attended the University of Oxford, specializing in English Language and Literature.
