David Kwon

David Kwon serves as the Physician in Charge at the Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion within Henry Ford Health Cancer since January 2021. With a tenure at Henry Ford Health System dating back to September 2011, David has held multiple key roles, including Division Head of Surgical Oncology, where efforts have been made to implement advanced and personalized treatments for patients. As Medical Director of the Center for Cancer Surgery, David collaborates on the strategic growth of surgical oncology services and focuses on improving surgical outcomes and expanding cancer telemedicine. Previous experience includes a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and completing General Surgery residency at Henry Ford Health System. David holds an MD from UC San Diego School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Columbia University.
