Jill Abbott, MPA has a diverse work experience starting in 1990. Jill began their career in the State of Delaware working in Constituent Relations until 1992. Jill then moved on to the United States Senate, where they continued working in Constituent Relations until 1994. In 1994, they joined New Castle County as Chief Deputy until 1995, when they transitioned to Burson-Marsteller as a Marketing Associate until 1997. Their most recent role was at Winterthur Museum, where they served as Associate Director of Events starting in October 1997.

Jill Abbott, MPA, has a strong education background in the field of public administration. In 1985, they completed their bachelor's degree in American Studies and History at the University of Delaware. Following their undergraduate studies, Jill pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a master's degree in Public Administration from 1991 to 1993.
