Rozanna A. Penney

Rozanna serves as Vice President of Ambulatory & Perioperative Services Chief APP Officer for Heywood Healthcare. Rozanna is known for her dedication to providing a quality experience for her patients, as well as her tenacity to lead her team to a successful and friendly environment.

Rozanna came to Heywood in early 2016 as the Chief Nurse Anesthetist in what was then their new anesthesia group. After quickly establishing a widely recognized reputation as both, a talented clinician and an inspiring leader, she was soon asked to become a member of the management team, initially in the role of Associate Director of Perioperative Services and subsequently as Director of Perioperative Services.

In her position as Vice President of Ambulatory & Perioperative Services Chief APP Officer, Rozanna’s charge is to provide strategic leadership that will enhance growth and further optimize operational efficiencies while ensuring consistent delivery of the highest quality care throughout the perioperative arena.

As Chief APP Officer, Rozanna establishes a direct link between their Advanced Practice Providers, who play an increasingly prominent and crucial role in their healthcare delivery system, and the senior team.

Rozanna has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of New England and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Anesthesia for Nurses and she is currently enrolled as a part-time student in the Master of Business Administration program at Boston College. She is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
