Robert Clifford is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in scientific leadership and research. Currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at the Henry M Jackson Foundation since August 2021, Robert has previously held key roles such as Bioinformaticist at Peraton, Research Microbiologist (Bioinformatics) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, and Chief Bioinformaticist at Clinical Research Management. Robert's contributions to the Multidrug-resistant Organism Repository and Surveillance Network (MRSN) have included strategic guidance, team supervision, and enhancement of data systems. Prior to this, Robert held positions at the National Cancer Institute, Washington University School of Medicine, and Princeton University, with a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a BA in Biology and Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis.
