Mi Zhou

Mi Zhou is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the biomedical field. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for the Biomedical Materials Theme at the Henry Royce Institute since January 2022, Mi Zhou previously held the position of Project Manager for MedTech and Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Manchester since May 2014. Additional roles include supporting biotechnology as a freelancer, and managing operations and development at PeptiGelDesign Technologies Ltd, as well as production and development at Manchester BIOGEL during 2018. Early career experiences consist of postdoctoral research at both The University of Manchester and University College London focusing on cellular functions and nutritional requirements for artificial liver systems, respectively. Mi Zhou earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from the University of Manchester and a Master of Engineering in Materials Science from Queen Mary, University of London.
