Sarah Kwan has extensive experience in various roles within the e-commerce and retail industries. Sarah started their career at Hudson's Bay Company, where they worked as an Associate Category Manager/Buyer and gained experience in developing category strategies and optimizing product performance. Sarah later joined Sears Canada as a Manager, Senior Manager, and Director in Merchandise Financial Planning & Analysis, where they were responsible for budgeting, financial management, and business analysis for a multimillion-dollar portfolio.
Sarah also worked at Urbery Inc., a startup focusing on building e-commerce experiences for consumer packaged goods brands. As a Senior E-commerce Manager, they led the performance and growth of clients' e-commerce channels, including store development, marketing, strategy, and analytics.
In addition, Sarah co-founded Lean In Canada, a non-profit organization empowering professional women. During their time there, they grew the organization's membership, established a reputation for delivering impactful programming, and managed marketing, communications, and programming efforts.
Most recently, Sarah worked at Go Direct Solutions as the Director of Strategy & Analytics. In this role, they led client-facing interactions, implemented e-commerce and marketing programs, and developed the company's reputation as a trusted partner.
Currently, Sarah is the Director of E-commerce at Henry's, where they are responsible for overseeing the company's e-commerce operations.
Sarah Kwan completed their Bachelor of Design degree in Fashion Design & Communications at Ryerson University in 2006. In addition, they obtained the Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in February 2017.
