Mert Hekimci

Mert Hekimci has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Mert currently serves as the Head of Technology at Hepsiburada, where they manage a large team of tech and product professionals and is responsible for various web and mobile features and services. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Technology at Hepsiburada and as the Vice President of Engineering at Invicti Security, where they managed engineering teams and developed strategies for the company's DAST solution. Mert Hekimci also held positions as CTO at Kariyer.net and ebebek, leading job search and mother and baby brands in Turkey respectively. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Nexum Boğaziçi, a Software Development Manager at Smart Gaming Group, and a Senior Software Architect at Total Attorneys and Deloitte. Mert started their career as a Software Development Team Leader at CoreTech and a System Administrator at Banksoft.

Mert Hekimci holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from Yeditepe University (2018-2020). Mert also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Istanbul University (1995-2000). In addition, Mert Hekimci has obtained certifications including MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional and MCSD - Microsoft Certified Solution Developer from Microsoft.
