Katelyn Watson

Katelyn Watson is a seasoned professional in the field of optics, currently serving as a Sales Manager for Commercial Optics at Heraeus Conamic since August 2022, where business development and sales of high purity fused silica are the primary focus. Previously, Katelyn worked as an Inside Sales Engineer II at Hamamatsu and as an Applications Engineer at Thorlabs. Additionally, Katelyn has experience in academia, having created and taught a course on optical materials specifications as an Adjunct Professor at Sussex County Community College. Early research experience includes contributions as a Research Assistant on projects related to pulsed lasers at Arkansas State University and temperature probes at Brigham Young University. Katelyn holds a degree in Physics with a concentration in Optics/Optical Sciences from Arkansas State University.
