Meghan Jameson

Meghan Jameson is currently the Controller at Herberger Theater Center. Prior to their current position, Meghan was the Corporate Accounting Manager at Clearwing Productions from September 2011 to December 2018. In this role, they were the head of the Global Accounting Team and managed 8 direct reports located in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Colorado for a company with $50 million annual revenue. Meghan successfully implemented a policy to make use of prepay discounts which resulted in annual savings of $160,000. Additionally, they managed daily cash flow for 5 locations with a daily average bank balance of $1MM. Meghan has also maintained balances, facilitated internal transfers and wires of up to $500,000 daily.

In their role at Clearwing Productions, Meghan also designed, implemented, and maintained a procedure for tracking the addition of $2 million in fixed assets annually. Meghan was able to reduce the month-end closing time from 20 days to 15 while simultaneously improving accuracy through increased account auditing. Meghan also facilitated the set up of 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges for the sale and replacement of capitalized assets resulting in substantial deferral of tax on capital gains. In addition, they worked directly with the CEO, COO and General Managers to ensure work-flow processes were maintained for best internal control practice. Lastly, they approved and administered inter-company journal entries and accruals across 5 company enterprises ensuring accuracy from one location to another.

At Clearwing Productions, Meghan also successfully managed accounting and administration for the construction and installation division. This included filing for construction liens, working with General Contractors, evaluating Contracts, establishing progress payments, and applying contracting tax. Prior to their time at Clearwing Productions, Meghan Jameson was a dedicated employee at XYZ Corporation from January 2010 to August 2011 where they served as an accountant.

Meghan Jameson has a Bachelor of Science in Honors Biochemistry from the University of Michigan.

They are on a team with Tami Updegraff - Director of Production Services & Facilities, Cescily Washington-Wiener - Director of Community Engagement, and Laurene Austin - Director of Development & Marketing. Their manager is Mark Mettes, President & CEO.
