James Horner

James Horner is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Associate in Real Estate Finance at Herbert Smith Freehills since August 2021. Prior to this role, James held the position of Senior Solicitor in Banking & Finance at Russell McVeagh from April 2017 to March 2021. James also contributed to academic development as a Tutor in Contract Law at Victoria University of Wellington from March 2015 to November 2016, and gained practical experience as a Summer Clerk in Private Equity/M&A at Russell McVeagh in late 2015. Educational qualifications include a First Class LLB(Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish, both obtained from Victoria University of Wellington between 2012 and 2016.
