Bushra Qamar

Bushra Qamar's work experience includes roles in quality control and research and development. Bushra has worked in various pharmaceutical companies such as Herbion International, SAMI Pharmaceuticals, and Bosch Pharmaceuticals. At Herbion International, they held positions as a Quality Control Executive and a QC Officer, where they worked on method development, validation, impurity profiling, and product registration-related queries and documentation. Bushra also prepared QC-related dossier documents according to registration requirements. In their role at SAMI Pharmaceuticals, they served as a Sr. Executive in Quality Control. Furthermore, they worked as a Research and Development Executive at Bosch Pharmaceuticals. Prior to their industry experience, they completed an internship at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, where they conducted research on a tuberculosis drug's derivatization for enhanced biological activity. Bushra is currently working as an Assistant Manager in Quality Control at Herbion International and is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board Foundation at Jinnah University for Women.

Bushra Qamar earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Karachi University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Analytical Chemistry, also at Karachi University, from 2014 to 2016.
