Dmitri Zaitsev is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in mathematics and data analytics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin since 2002, Dmitri also holds positions as an Academic Mentor and Partner at EUvsVirus, and as an Academic Advisor for Herdsy, specializing in data modeling and AI solutions for the animal analytics industry. As a cofounder of both the Public Forum for Scholarly Publishing Reform towards Fair Open Access and the Free Journal Network, Dmitri is committed to enhancing scholarly publishing practices. Additionally, Dmitri is the founder of 33hotels, a developing platform aimed at improving hotel search experiences. Dmitri’s academic journey includes previous roles as Assistant Professor at the University of Tuebingen and various visiting professorships, alongside a PhD in Mathematics from Ruhr University Bochum.
