Wesam Herbawi

Wesam Herbawi is a highly experienced software engineer and consultant with a strong background in intelligent mobility and algorithm development. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at HERE Technologies since November 2020, Wesam also co-founded and holds the position of Chief Science Officer at Leam. Previous experience includes consulting at TETO TECH and working as a Senior Researcher and Routing Specialist at Daimler Mobility Services. Wesam's academic background features a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Ulm and significant roles in academia, including Director of the Innovative Software Engineering Center at Palestine Polytechnic University and teaching various computer science courses.
