Chloe Dawson Cook

Chloe Dawson Cook is a Software Developer II at Heritage Bank NW, specializing in modular, web-based software for Commercial Bank Loan Origination Systems utilizing Node.js and React since July 2020. Chloe earned a Master of Science degree from Western Washington University in August 2021, after previously completing a Bachelor of Science degree in 2020. During academic studies, Chloe implemented a computational neural network for nearshore wave forecasts using advanced programming languages and frameworks, served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant developing neural networks and collaborating with research groups, and held roles as a Computer Science Mentor and Teaching Assistant. Prior internship experiences include developing a graphical user interface at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and curating underwater video for the U.S. Geological Survey's Elwha River Restoration Project. In addition, Chloe has been involved with Girls Who Code since 2015.
