Amy Barnes

Amy Barnes serves as the Controller at Heritage Community of Kalamazoo since November 2018, bringing considerable financial expertise from previous leadership roles. Notably, Amy held the position of VP of Operations at Bronson at Home from January 1995 to January 2017, overseeing multiple sectors including Home Health and Hospice. Additionally, Amy was the VP of Finance at Bronson Battle Creek from July 2011 to October 2013, managing essential functions such as Physician Billing and Financial Planning. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Battle Creek Health System, serving as Director of Finance and Senior Accountant. Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Western Michigan University, obtained between 1988 and 1992.
