Karen Montgomery

Karen Montgomery, PHR has over 35 years of work experience, primarily in human resources and executive support roles. Karen is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Heritage Environmental Services since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resource Manager at Heritage Thermal Services for over 12 years from October 2009 to May 2022. Karen also worked at Heritage-WTI, Inc. for 14 years, where they held various positions including Executive Assistant from August 2002 to October 2009, Safety / Training Administrator from July 2000 to August 2002, and Safety Secretary from September 1995 to July 2000. Karen began their career as a Customer Service Rep at Miller, Thomas, Montgomery Insurance Agency, Inc. and worked there for 8 years from June 1987 to September 1995.

Karen Montgomery, PHR obtained their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Office Management and Supervision from Kent State University between 1986 and 1989. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Resources Management from Geneva College, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
