Kristen Wright (Schalter)

Kristen (Schalter) Wright currently serves as Staff Counsel for Heritage Insurance, providing in-house litigation counsel since April 2023. Previously, Kristen held the position of Associate Attorney at Bush Ross, P.A. and Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP, focusing on first-party property insurance defense. Kristen's experience also includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Straley Robin Vericker with a focus on local government law, and as a legal intern at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, United Soccer Leagues LLC, and Universal Orlando Resort. Kristen holds a Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law, where studies concentrated on Corporate and Sports Law as well as Real Estate & Land Use Law, and has completed certifications in Dispute Resolution and Mediation from Tulane University Law School. Additionally, Kristen earned a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Cornerstone University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Grand Valley State University.
