Susan Meister

Susan Meister has a range of work experience in human resources across multiple companies. Susan has held various leadership positions, including Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President at Heritage Insurance since 2016. Prior to this, Meister served as Vice President of HR Operations & Employment Law at PODS from 2012 to 2016. At WellCare Health Plans from 2007 to 2011, they worked as Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and Vice President of Talent Development and Retention. From 2002 to 2007, they held roles at Cigna as HR Director and HR Regional Business Leader. Meister also worked at GE Capital in various HR positions from 2000 to 2002 and from 1993 to 1999. Susan began their career as a Summer Legal Associate at Vedder Price in 1999. Overall, Meister has extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, employee engagement, internal communication initiatives, talent development, and organizational design.

Susan Meister attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1987 to 1991, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce. Susan then pursued a Masters of Arts in Human Resource Management at Michigan State University from 1991 to 1992. Later on, from 1997 to 2000, they attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Employment Law.
