Douglas Stewart has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Douglas started their career at Bank of the West in 1989, where they served as Vice President until 2000. Douglas then joined Comerica Bank as a First Vice President from 2000 to 2010. After that, they worked at City National Bank as a Senior Vice President, handling commercial banking services and managing the San Jose Regional Office. In 2014, Douglas joined Opus Bank as the Managing Director of Technology Banking, specializing in providing banking solutions to technology companies. Douglas later joined United Business Bank as a Senior Vice President and Regional Team Leader, responsible for relationship management and commercial banking services. Currently, Douglas is working at Heritage Bank of Commerce as the Peninsula Market President, overseeing the bank's operations and serving as a Senior Vice President.
Douglas Stewart attended the University of San Francisco from 1986-1988, where they earned an MBA in finance. Prior to that, they studied at UCLA from 1981-1985, obtaining a BA in economics.
