Ahmed ElRifae

Ahmed ElRifae has worked in the engineering industry since 2007. In 2007, they were a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Sidi Krir Power Generation Company. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Mechanical Construction Engineer at Kahromika, and a Teaching Assistant at Lamar University from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2022, they were a Senior Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Project Engineer and a Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Service Engineer at Philadelphia Gear. Most recently, they have been a Senior Powertrain Engineer at Hermeus since 2022. In this role, they design, analyzes, builds, and tests powertrain components, and drives and owns the full life cycle development. Ahmed also owns trades between configuration, weight, volume, and thermals.

Ahmed ElRifae earned a BSc in Mechanical Power Engineering from Ain Shams University between 2003 and 2008. Ahmed then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University, which they completed in 2012. In October 2010, they obtained an EIT certification.
