In 1991, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Combined Studies from Heriot-Watt University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Following this, in 2007, they completed an Executive Education program in Military and Strategic Leadership at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom.
