Andrew Vinegar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrew began their career as a Culinary Arts Extern at The Dinex Group, working with Chef Daniel Boulud. Andrew then served as a Resident Assistant at The Culinary Institute of America. Following this, Andrew worked as a Service Team Member at Primo Restaurant.
In 2016, Andrew joined ESE Lifestyle as a Special Events Intern, where they collaborated with PR firms to produce events for high-profile clients. Andrew also managed procurement, labor crews, and oversaw shipping and receiving for events attended by over 300 guests.
Andrew concurrently served as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell School of Hotel Administration, where they coached students in hospitality development and planning, facilities management, and introduction to wines.
In 2018, they joined YuiDesign as a Project Coordinator, managing and coordinating commercial foodservice projects for clients such as Chef Alex Stupak, Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, and Tiffany and Co. Andrew facilitated request for proposals and prepared bid packages averaging over $1 million per project.
Andrew then joined Stealth Mode Real Estate Startup in 2021 as a Design Associate. Andrew played a key role in project management, including leading coordination meetings and designing foodservice facilities through adaptive reuse of commercial properties. Andrew also conducted quality assurance by reviewing and red-lining CD sets.
Most recently, Andrew joined Hersha Hospitality Management in 2022 as a Junior Project Manager. Andrew is currently serving as a Project Manager, exploring new opportunities and taking on additional responsibilities.
Andrew Vinegar attended Cornell University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hotel Administration. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they studied Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America as an AOS Culinary Arts Candidate. In addition to their formal education, Andrew also obtained certifications such as the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in December 2022, and the LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in October 2021.
