Hesam Mahdavi

Hesam Mahdavi is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and education. Since January 2006, Hesam has held multiple leadership roles at Zodiac Light Waves Inc., including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Director of System Engineering, and is also a co-founder of the company. In addition, from March 2021, Hesam serves on the Academic Advisory Committee at Herzing College. Previously, as President of Kumon Altavista from November 2014 to January 2020, Hesam oversaw the opening of the Altavista location on Bank Street. Additionally, Hesam worked as Director of System Engineering at Pikaia Systems Inc. from January 2007 to January 2014. Hesam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microwave and Communication from the University of Ottawa, obtained between 2002 and 2007.
