Dave Simpson

Dave Simpson is an experienced executive specializing in strategic partnerships and government affairs. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Herzog since June 2023, Dave previously held the position of Director of Government Affairs at Cox Communications from June 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included developing government relations strategies and collaborating on legislative advocacy. Earlier roles include Director of Local Government Relations at Transportation Corridor Agencies, Manager of Regional Initiatives at the Orange County Transportation Authority, and Executive Director at OCCOG. Dave’s extensive background also includes significant experience in media relations and public outreach from positions at Paine & Associates and other organizations, reinforced by a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA and a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
