Elana Feinstein

Elana Feinstein is an experienced educator currently serving as a 7th Grade English Teacher at Heschel Day School since August 2022. Previous roles include teaching 7th and 8th Grade English at Sinai Akiba Academy, where responsibilities encompassed being an 8th Grade Advisor, supervising Student Council, and implementing innovative instructional strategies focused on social justice and mindfulness from July 2020 to August 2022. Prior teaching experiences include positions at Woodside High School, Bloomington High School North, Medora Community School, and Park View Montessori Preschool, where Elana developed diverse curricula and employed technology to enhance student engagement and academic success. Elana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Language Arts Education from Indiana University Bloomington and has also contributed to professional development initiatives within educational districts.
