Heather Burroughs

Heather Burroughs has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Heather started their career at The McGraw Hill Companies as a National Account Coordinator, where they managed key customer brokerage accounts and implemented customer satisfaction measures. Heather then became a Sr. Management Consultant at Tower Group International, specializing in regulatory import and special program consulting. Heather later joined FedEx Express as a Sr. Customs Specialist, overseeing contract brokerage services. Heather then moved to Agilent Technologies as a US Compliance Manager, preparing the company for its spin-off from HP and managing trade compliance and import operations. Heather then spent a significant portion of their career at HP, holding various roles such as Manager of Global Logistics Regulatory and Compliance, Global Trade Customs Security Manager, and Director of Global Trade. In their positions, they focused on trade policy, advocacy, export and import controls, training, and compliance audit and assurance. Most recently, Heather worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Vice President of Global Trade, where they continued to enhance business strategy and import/export compliance execution.

Heather Burroughs attended the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Global Management in the MBA Program. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Fine, Communication, and Performing Arts from Wayne State University from 1988 to 1990. Heather also had previous education experience at Michigan State University from 1986 to 1988, where they focused on Communications, Business, and Law.
