Lavonne Monroe

Lavonne Monroe has extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Lavonne most recently worked as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, overseeing a global team of 300 members and hiring 12,000 employees annually. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Global Recruiting at both Schlumberger and Cameron, managing talent planning and recruitment processes. Lavonne also worked as the Global Talent Acquisition Manager at BMC Software and as a Recruitment Manager at ABM Industries. Earlier in their career, Lavonne held roles as a Recruiting Manager at RediClinic and as the National Recruitment Manager at Gentiva Health Services.

Lavonne Monroe has a diverse education history. Lavonne acquired skills through alternate routes at STARS, specializing in tearing the paper ceiling. In 2017, they attended Western Governors University, focusing on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. Prior to that, Lavonne attended Radford High School. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including the Strategic Pathways for Women Certificate from The Executive Leadership Council in 2022, the Strategic talent acquisition Certification (STA) from the Human Capital Institute in 2019, the Workbench Tier 5 certification from Kenexa, an IBM Company in 2013, and the CIR, CDR certification from Airs.
