Mike Self

Mike Self is an experienced quality and laboratory manager currently serving at Hexcel Corporation since January 2016, with roles including Site Quality Manager, US Fibers Laboratory Manager, and Laboratory Manager. Prior to this, Mike Self worked at 3M from September 2010 to January 2016 as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Senior Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on process engineering of multilayer optical films. Mike Self's career also includes a role as Technical Manager at BASF from 1997 to 2008 and as a Chemist for the US Army Corps of Engineers from July 1994 to July 1997. Mike Self earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, completing studies from August 1988 to December 1993.
