Colin Ho

Colin Ho is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Hgen. Colin previously worked at Terraformation Inc. as a Research and Development Consultant from May 2021 to January 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at SpaceX, including Lead Engineer for Starship Actuation and Power Systems, Lead Propulsion Engineer for Components, and Propulsion Components Design Engineer. Colin'swork at SpaceX took place from January 2018 to June 2020. Before joining SpaceX, Colin was the Lead Mechanical and Product Design Engineer at OpenROV from December 2012 to December 2017. Colin also worked as a Graduate Researcher at UC Berkeley College of Engineering from August 2013 to May 2015. Colin's earlier experience includes roles as a Roboticist and Collaborated Designer at Seeed Studio from June 2012 to June 2014, Project Manager & Mechanical Engineering Lead at Arizona State University's Extreme Environment Robotics and Instrumentation Lab from August 2010 to July 2012, and Student Researcher at Arizona State University's Autonomous Systems Technologies Research and Instrumentation Laboratory from September 2008 to July 2012. Colin was also a Student Researcher at Jet Propulsion Laboratory from June 2010 to August 2010. Colin began their work experience as a NASA Space Grant Intern at ASU Mars Space Flight Facility from August 2008 to March 2010, where they focused on software development and data-gradient path planning.

Colin Ho holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Design from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
