Helen Chen

Helen Chen is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in innovation, UX design, and strategic branding. Currently serving as Design Director and Lead UX Strategist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since December 2021, Helen has previously held roles at prominent organizations such as R/GA, IDEO CoLab, and Arup. Helen founded Lady Marmalade Studio, specializing in food and design, and has contributed to various projects across diverse industries, including urban design and healthcare. Helen holds an MFA in Products of Design from the School of Visual Arts and a BA in Art History from Columbia University.
