Shyamal Mondal

Shyamal Mondal is a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and security. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Hiab since December 2022, Shyamal specializes in digital services, integration with Snowflake, and infrastructure as code using CDK, alongside programming in Python, SQL, and TypeScript. Prior to this, Shyamal worked at Testhouse Enko@Huawei, focusing on massive data processing and ETL task maintenance using Hadoop and Spark from July 2020 to November 2022. Shyamal's earlier tenure at Tata Consultancy Services included several roles where significant contributions were made to data management and analytics for clients such as Elisa, Davita, and Comcast, transitioning traditional warehousing to modern AWS cloud services. Shyamal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering from Jadavpur University, completed in 2008.
