Shadiah Harvey

Shadiah Harvey currently serves as the Dean of Instruction at Hiawatha Academies, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Shadiah was a Health Educator at Central Middle School from August 2021 to July 2023 and a Physical Education Teacher at HLA Morris Park Elementary School from August 2019 to June 2021, where a strong focus on equity and education was emphasized. Shadiah also held the role of Curriculum Coordinator at New Horizon Academy between May 2018 and July 2019, overseeing lesson plan development and teacher training. Additional experience includes coaching for Girls on the Run International and serving as both a Health and Physical Education Teacher and Girls Head Basketball Coach at Saint Peter Claver School. Shadiah holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-St. Paul, alongside a Master's in Health and Wellness Education and a Bachelor's in Health and Physical Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
