Niel Cansino

Niel Cansino is a seasoned professional with experience in product leadership, firmware engineering, and technical consulting. Currently serving as a Product Leader at hibot since February 2021, Niel has also held various roles including Technical Consultant at A.L.I. Technologies Inc., where responsibilities involved software architecture and firmware development, and as an Electronics & Embedded Software Engineer focused on embedded software for electronic control units. Prior experience includes a role as Product Development Engineer at Anritsu Infivis Inc., specializing in high-speed food checkweighers and utilizing AI techniques for maintenance and error correction. Niel's early career includes an internship at Artesyn Embedded Technologies, contributing to power supply design and failure analysis. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
