Salvatore Sessa

Salvatore SESSA is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and academia. Currently serving as the Software Department Lead and Senior Software Engineer at hibot since October 2017, Salvatore has also held various academic positions at Waseda University, including Part-time Lecturer, Visiting Researcher, Assistant Professor, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Prior to this, Salvatore worked as an Associate Professor at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology from October 2010 to April 2014 and contributed as a Designer in research projects at the University of Catania. Salvatore holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Automation Engineering and a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Università di Catania, along with foundational education from Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale.
