Maria Assarson

Maria Assarson has a diverse work experience in various roles. Maria is the Founding Partner & CEO of Hidden Dreams, a company that focuses on early-stage investments in startups and solves hidden business problems through technology. Maria was also the Founding Partner & COO of Hidden Dreams from November 2018 to April 2022.

In addition, Maria has worked with Teknikkvinnor, a company that promotes women in technology. Maria served as the Styrelseordförande (Chairman of the Board), Founder, and CEO during their tenure from October 2017 to September 2021. Maria also founded Teknikkvinnor Chef, which aims to empower and develop female leaders in the technology industry.

Maria has served as a Styrelseledamot (Board Member) for Abacube AB since November 2022, where they contribute to their digital compensation calculation service for personal injuries. Maria is also a Styrelseledamot for North House AB, a company that offers a digital solution for governing documents, since April 2022.

Furthermore, Maria has been a Styrelseledamot for ChainTraced since August 2021, which provides a digital service for traceability in industrial value chains. Maria has also been a Board member for VivoLogica since October 2019, a company focused on streamlining administrative work for healthcare providers and staffing agencies.

Previously, Maria served as the CEO & Co-Founder of commuto AB from January 2018. Maria has also held the role of Founder at Wirba, a company where they served as a Styrelseledamot from September 2021 to February 2023. Additionally, they were a Board member at Vivium from August 2021 to January 2023, contributing their expertise to simplify administrative work in the healthcare industry.

Maria Assarson completed their education from 2008 to 2018. Maria obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Medical Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Maria also pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering and Management as a visiting student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2017. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University for a course in Developmental Leadership. During the same period, Maria enrolled in the Sales Academy and Mentorship program at Vendator, focusing on Sales. Finally, they completed their Gymnasial education in Natural Sciences at Kungsholmens Gymnasium from 2008 to 2011.
