Karl Hergert

Karl brings 20 years of experience in the professional audiovisual industry designing, project managing, commissioning, and servicing audio visual systems in eastern Ontario. Joining the Communications & AV team in 2020, he adds extensive and hands on knowledge of audio, video, presentation, communication and information systems that span multiple market sectors including educational, performing arts, houses of worship, and sports arenas.

Fueled by strong project management techniques, Karl has proven success with alternative procurement methods including design build, construction management, gross maximum price, and public private partnerships (P3). A focus on needs analysis, detailed design, budget, and schedule, allow Karl to specify the best technology for your projects, delivering intuitive, cost effective, and future focused systems. He has over 20 years experience in software programming of Control Systems, AV routing devices and audio Digital Signal Processors (DSP’s). Educated at the Harris Institute in audio engineering and recording arts, together with career expertise covering design, sales, and project management, Karl combines the media arts with innovation and technology to create refreshing and fun audiovisual system designs.
